By supporting Singathon 2024, you’re helping  Sing’theatre to bring live music and human connection to people who are often in difficult situations, isolated, or in need of support. Through Sing’theatre’s Community Outreach Programme, we reach thousands of patients in hospitals, healthcare staff working tirelessly, and other vulnerable communities across Singapore. But we need your help to keep this work going.

Since 2013, we’ve seen how music can lift spirits, reduce stress, and bring warmth to even the hardest days. Your donation helps fund live music performances in hospitals and communities where these moments of joy and connection are rare but deeply valued.

Here’s what your support makes possible:

• MusicFest@SGH: Each year, we bring a full day of live music to Singapore General Hospital, transforming the space with melodies and uplifting the spirits of patients, doctors, nurses, and visitors.
• Once Upon a Song: Monthly lunchtime concerts at Tan Tock Seng Hospital provide moments of joy and relief to patients and healthcare workers who need a break from the day.
• Sing Me a Story: Weekly visits to the children’s wards at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and National University Hospital, where fairy tales characters share songs and stories that bring smiles to young patients and their families.
• Melody at the Wards: Every two weeks, we perform in the lobbies and wards of hospitals across Singapore, from Changi General Hospital to Tan Tock Seng, bringing music directly to patients’ bedsides and common spaces for all to enjoy.
• The Sampaguitas : A choir of foreign domestic workers who come together to sing, connect, and share their stories through music.

With over 300 hours of live music each year, Sing’theatre reaches those who may not have access to the arts. Your donation goes directly to funding these programmes, ensuring that music can continue to bring comfort and joy to people who truly need it.
