Sing’theatre and SingHealth thus proudly present the soft launch of 365 Days of Music @SingHealth with the generous support of Zuellig Pharma. 365 Days of Music @SingHealth is Sing’theatre’s brand new community outreach programme which promises to bring 1-hour of live music every day to the 10 institutions across SingHealth such as KKH, SGH and National Cancer Centre.

Since 2013, Sing’theatre has embarked on a journey to bring music to hospitals, with notable programmes such as MusicFest @SGH, Musical Rendezvous @NUH, Once Upon a Song @TTSH and Sing Me a Story @KKH. From these experiences we believe all the more strongly that music has the ability to stimulate the senses, uplift the spirit, and help the patient’s journey to recovery. In the past 6 years, we have touched many lives through our programmes and this has inspired us to do even more through our partnership with SingHealth.

Combining our experience and expertise together with our status as a professional theatre company, which allows us to bring quality music to hospitals, we are confident in launching this very unique and ambitious programme, 365 Days of Music @SingHealth.

Sing’theatre and SingHealth thus proudly present the soft launch of 365 Days of Music @SingHealth with the generous support of Zuellig Pharma. From 7th October 2019 until the full launch on 4th February 2020, we are committed to bringing music to hospitals and clinics. Whether at the lobby or the wards, patients, caretakers and staff alike can enjoy performances brought directly to them. This soft launch is also an opportunity for us to ensure that programme is perfected before the official launch in 2020.

With 365 Days of Music @SingHealth, we hope to improve the quality of life in Singapore and build a better society with music. After all, there are no off-days when you are ill.

 Our Commitment: 

To visit 8 institutions among SingHealth:

• 4 mains hospitals: KK Hospital (KKH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), Sengkang General Hospital (SKGH)
• 2 Community Hospitals: Bright Vision (BV), Sengkang Community Hospital (SKCH)
• 2 National Centres: Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), National Cancer Centre (NCC)

To provide 2 different types of Performances:

• Lunchtime concerts: it will take place at the atrium of the hospital/clinic during lunchtime. This is will be a free performance and open to public with includes outpatient patients
• Ward visits: we will bring life music to the patient’s bedside, engage them and reach the ones that are not able to enjoy the public performances out at the atrium.
