Mina Kaye!

Mina Kaye is an award-winning actress currently based in Singapore. Mina was first trained in Early Childhood Education with a Bachelor of Science from Wheelock College, Boston Massachusetts. She has over 6 years of teaching experience with preschool children. During her time as a teacher, Mina also developed and taught her own curriculum for music & movement, as well as speech and drama classes for children.
It was through teaching where she discovered her passion for performing, so she went on to study musical theatre at LASALLE College of the Arts. In 2012, she graduated with a First Class Honors degree in Musical Theatre.
Upon graduation, she was involved in over 16 professional productions within 2 years in the Singapore theatre scene. Her most notable credit was playing the titular character in Pangdemonium’s 2014 production of “The Rise and Fall of Little Voice”. She won Best Actress for her role as Little Voice at the 2015 Singapore Life! Theatre Awards. She has also starred in Sing’theatre’s productions such as ” A Singaporean in Paris(2014)” & “A Spoonful of Sherman(2019)”. Additionally, she’s also been privileged with the invitation to perform alongside accomplished Broadway performers, Brad Little and Shoshana Bean in The Phantom Unmasked Concert at the Marina Bay Sands Theatre. Thereafter, she was offered a scholarship for the masters program at the prestigious Boston Conservatory – She graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre in 2016.
