Sharjah Performing Arts Academy Dubai: Auditions for 2020 Intake at Sing’theatre Academy

Sing’theatre is thrilled to welcome Sharjah Performing Arts Academy Dubai, a brand-new leading conservatoire in the region, offering quality undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Production Arts.
They are visiting Singapore for the first time this February to audition for their brand new Bachelor Of Arts Degrees in Musical Theatre, Acting and Production Arts.
What is Sharjah Performing Arts Academy about?
Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) was founded to nuture the growing demand for performing arts education in the area. Since September 2019, it has welcomed students from countries all over the world to be part of its world-class education.
Sharjah Performing Arts Academy provides a complete education for the performing artist and production professional. SPAA equips its graduates with the means to be credible contenders for work in the professional performing arts producing graduates with a competitive edge in an international market, with all the necessary skills to develop a lasting career within this expanding creative industry. The reputation of the faculty and visiting teachers, the unrivalled quality of the facilities, the unbeatable location of the Academy and the determination to succeed provide the strongest platform in achieving these aims.
This February, SPAA will be holding auditions for its arts programmes, namely Bachelor of Acting, Bachelor of Production Arts and Bachelor of Musical Theatre.

Meet the teachers!
Peter Barlow has been involved in professional performing arts education for more than 30 years. Highlights of Peter’s career include Director of the prestigious Guildford School of Acting, Vice Principal at Laine Theatre Arts, Chair of the Conference of Drama Schools, an Olivier Award Professional Judge. He has seen over 10,000 candidates audition for drama schools and many of his graduates are working professionally as actors, directors and choreographers all over the world.
Andy Sullivan has worked as a creative and vocal coach on over 40 professional productions across Japan, Canada, UK, Europe and America. Previous students working in London’s West end include: Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Mary Poppins, Dear Even Hansen, Come from away and Waitress.
Internationally acclaimed Lynne Marie Holloway Choreographer and examinations guru training students of the highest calibre around the world.
